Prep time: 5 minutes
Sitting Time: Overnight
1/3 c fine rolled oats
½ c milk (use almond milk if dairy free)
1 t chia seeds
½ T honey
1 t vanilla essence
2 T slivered almonds (omit if nut free)
½ medium banana, sliced
1/3 c blueberries
In an airtight container, mix oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla.
Seal the container and place in the fridge overnight.
In the morning, stir oats and top with slivered almonds, sliced banana, and blueberries.

There the dog lay on the front porch and he was howling. Really howling. It was a terrific noise. And the man was sitting rocking in his porch swing. Another man was walking passed and heard the howling. Who wouldn't?
And he stopped and asked the man about the howling and the dog.
The owner told him that the dog was lying on top of a floorboard nail. It was causing the dog pain, obviously.
And the man who was passing by asked, "Well why does he stay there then? Why doesn't he move?"
And the owner replied, "I guess it doesn't hurt enough."
