Catching up...

​Well for some of you it has been literally years since I have been in contact with you!​

So here's a quick update on what's been going on in my life...

I was pregnant in 2015.

​February 2016​ saw the arrival of my second son - Matthew

It was a torrid time in the beginning with him. He was born with club feet.

For the first 2 months of his life he was in plaster casts that were changed weekly or every second week. 
You can't believe the difference just that process made. 

Then he spent 24 hours a day in boots and brace for 3 months. After that he had to spend 14 hours per day in a brace until his 1st birthday. 

We're not out of the woods yet. He still wears a brace for 12 hours a day every day. 

And through this all he has grown into the most delightful, independent, noisy little boy. 

His big brother adores him and he has the household in the palm of of his hand. 

​The rest of 2016 passed in a blur. 
I celebrated a milestone birthday - 40 - in July. 

By then I had started to have a recurrent sinus and throat infection that would last for up to 10 days every month.

I was still breast feeding Matthew so I was waking during the nights to feed him. And as you know when you don't get enough sleep your health starts to spiral.


As a result my immune system became really run down. In August this year I got bronchitis and 10 days later I was diagnosed with pneumonia...

​After that I knew that I that I had to find ways to get my health back. I had been taking supplements all this time so imagine how much sicker I could have been.

​I have since added some new supplements to my tablet box and I think it is starting to make a difference...

As moms we run ourselves ragged and if our health is not in the best of places it makes it that much harder to be the best that we want to be as a mom, wife and individual.

That is why I have decided to start writing - 
 The Ultimate Guide to Supplements for Moms.
